Not only is this product long discontinued with support for it having stopped many, many years ago but no Mac for the last several years has shipped with FireWire built-in. I would certainly not expect it to work with 10.10 aka El Capitan never mind anything newer than that and we are now on 10.13 aka High Sierra. Less confidently I think there is a good chance it would work unofficially with 10.8 aka Mountain Lion and maybe 10.9 aka Mavericks. In reality I am sure it also would work with 10.7.5.

It is therefore long discontinued and the most recent driver issued is this one dating from 2012 -Īs you will see it only lists support for up to OS X 10.7.4 aka Lion. The FireWire 410 is an extremely old product - well over 10 years, I believe it was released in 2004 and in computing terms this is positively ancient.
